The Secret of Black Rock is a hybrid between a classic children’s book and a graphic novel. So one day she sneaks onto her mom’s boat and is swept off into adventure. A rock that moves sounds like a fairy tale to Erin, an excuse to keep her at home and she’s desperate to find out if the story is real or not. As big as a mountain and never in the same place, it’s a constant threat to the town’s fishing fleet and the bane of their existence. Erin would love to go out to sea on her mum’s boat but isn’t allowed to because of the dangerous and legendary Black Rock. ![]() Erin Pike lives with her mother and their dog Archie near a big fishing town, which makes sense since her mum is a fisherwoman. ![]()
